which may help your cameraman get the shot you need.
Canon K-35 35mm Cinema Prime Lenses
These are the best kept secret in the world of 35mm motion picture prime lenses.
Specifically designed for professional cinematography they are the result of an extensive and painstaking research program by Canon, in cooperation with the Research Center of the Association of Motion Picture Producers. Early Series K-35 lenses for cinematography won an Academy Award from the U.S. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
These Series III aspherical lenses are very sharp and contrasty with excellent flare caracteristics – widely recognised as a Kubrick favourite.
They not only cover S35, but they cover the full 35mm still photography area, which makes them the ideal choice for use with a Pro 35mm adapter on 2/3” cameras or for full frame cameras like the RED ONE, with the image bright and crisp from edge to edge.
